Mission and Membership

 

OCBA Mission:

Oneida County Beekeepers Association is a non-profit organization established to promote beekeeping in Wisconsin’s Northwoods, promote honey as a natural sweetener, and educate the general public on the importance of honeybees in agricultural at both a local as well as national level. We also support beekeeping as a rewarding hobby.

Our mission is accomplished by recruiting new beekeepers, speaking to area organizations and participating in local cultural events.

 

OCBA Membership:

Membership in OCBA is just $10 a year.  For your membership you get monthly emails of our happenings and meetings and the satisfaction that you are supporting our efforts to educate the public.   We have purchased beekeeping books for various local libraries, donated to school beekeeping projects, and purchased educational materials for classes.  

Dues are collected at our January meeting by our Treasurer, Linda. Or, you can mail dues to  Oneida County Beekeepers Association, 4501 South Shore Dr., Rhinelander Wi 54501. Please include your name, address, phone number and email address along with your membership fee.
